If you are 18 years of age or older, a resident of South Carolina, and have never been published before, you may be eligible to win the S.C First Novel Prize.

Charleston novelist Josephine Humphries will be the final judge from among the finalists.

New Training Manual for Charleston Tour Guides

The Historic Charleston Foundation has recently rewritten The City of Charleston Tour Guide Training Manual. This is the first re-write since 1984 and incorporates many new historical findings about Charleston as well as some very useful myth-busting.

Copies are available at the City Tourism Management Office

Civil War Novel Wins Multiple Awards

Self-published author, Jessica James has recently won the highly regarded John Esten Cooke Award for Southern Fiction for her novel, Noble Cause.
